VR Gateway opened in at Englishgate Plaza July 2019. 

 We closed our bricks and motor arcade on 31st August 2021, and provided Mobile VR to the local area and surrounding locations.

We have been announced as the operating partner for LEVELS, an immersive education and entertainment center, due to open in Whitehaven in 2025!

Fun experience

Trying virtual reality at VR gateway was really fun and so exciting given that there is nothing like this in Carlisle for a fun activity and experience! They have so many amazing virtual reality gaming options available to play with high tech equipment and the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable about everything

I highly recommend you give it a go,

Spent the evening here last night with a group of friends, I highly recommend you give it a go, and if you are up to it take on the assassins creed VR escape room 2 or 4 players, or just mow down hordes of zombies in Arizona sunshine!

What a place!!

What an amazing place, the set up they have is awesome. Great place for parties and team building with super friendly knowledgeable staff. Can't wait to go back. We'll done guys.

Find out who your real friends are!

An excellent way to blow off steam or compete with/against friends, want to find out who in a zombie apocalypse will steal all the ammo and leave you to die, play arizona sunshine, want to do a bit of team building or mercilessly mock that one friend that just can't bring himself to walk to the edge and look down, then try out the VR escape room, all in all a fantastic night, slots are 20mins a time, the escape room is an Hour teams of 2 to 4, once inside VR the immersion is fantastic and the threat appears real, I found myself on my backside once after throwing a grenade, while ducking to avoid the blast, in the escape room the sense of scale is off the off the charts, there are racing sims, among other games, we sampled but a few and will definitely be back for more.
